A brief explanation of the program number. Originally, like its parent show AMERICAN TOP 40, ACC was numbered in a 13-week quarterly fashion. In the example shown above, "C 801-10," "C" indicated "Country," "80" of course indicated the year (1980), the "1" indicated which quarter of the broadcast year (in this case, the first quarter), and the "-10" the week of the cycle.
Since the 1990s, ACC has been distributed to radio stations on compact discs.
