Byron the Elf:...And now, boys and girls, it's time for another visit with S.L.: Today's story is one I call, "The..."...uh..."...Frog and the..."...um..."...Grilled Chees Sandwich"! And it goes something like this: (SFX: Music box) S.L.: Um...once upon a time, there was this, uh, big green frog, and, one day he was sitting on a lily pad, and along came this stranger, and this stranger says, um, "Is there anyone here who wants a grilled cheese sandwich?" And the froggy said, uh... B: Uh, Story Lady? S.L.: Yes? B: Where did get a story like that? S.L: Oh, it's, um...an old favorite of mine. B: Well, it sounds as if you're just making it up as you go along. S.L.: All right, so what if I am? So what? B: Well, it's just that... S.L.: Look, I went to a party last night, and I overslept and just got up a half hour ago, and I didn't have time to prepare, so, what do you want from me? B: Well, I mean... S.L.: Besides, I think "The Frog and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich" is a good story. I think I make them up pretty good! Would you like to hear the rest of it? B: Uh, no, thank you.
