Byron the Elf:...It's time now for another visit with

S.L.: Hello, boys and girls. Today we're going to hear the story I call, "The Curse of the Voodoo Doll."

(SFX: Music box)

S.L.: Once upon a time there was a very brave young explorer, who heard about the mysterious voodoo ceremonies deep in the jungle. For weeks the brave explorer fought his way through the jungle, until he came upon a clearing, and there he was amazed to see the voodoo ceremony he had searched for.

But he was seen by some of the natives, and they chased the explorer through the woods, and he was lucky to escape with his life.

Then one day, many years later, a mysterious native came to visit him and told him, "You have seen the mysterious voodoo ceremony and escaped, but we shall have our revenge, for we have fashioned a doll, a doll that looks exactly like you! Its is a magic voodoo doll, and whatever happens to the doll will also happen to you!"

And from that day since, when you lie the explorer on his back, he gurgles and closes his eyes, and if you pull the string in his side, he says, "I want to go potty!"

B: Thank you, Story Lady. Be listening next time, boys and girls, when The Story Lady will sing "The Ballad of Bugsy Siegel."
