Byron the Elf: Now it's time for today's visit with

S.L.: Today, boys and girls, we're going to hear the story I call, " Hobgoblin and the Beautiful Lady ."

(SFX: Music Box)

S.L.: Once upon a time, there was a mean and ugly hobgoblin, who spent all his time trying to make someone love him. But it was to no avail. The hobgoblin was so frightening to look at, that every time he came up to anyone and asked to be thier friend, the person screamed and ran away.

One day, after the hobgoblin had scared several people, he sat down on a rock and began to cry. Suddenly before him appeared a beautiful woman with golden hair, who said, "Do not cry, ugly hobgoblin, for I will be your friend, and love you, and if you wish, I will marry you!"

The hobgoblin looked up, wiped a tear from his eye, then said, "I don't even know your religion!"

B: Thank you, Story Lady. Be listening next time, boys and girls, when The Story Lady tells us about "The Gremlin Who Drank Airwick®."
