Satiric radio commentary for the 90s from the man who drained Lake Michigan and filled it with hot chocolate!!! The Name Game: Unlikely Couples
Stan Freberg here. From time to time in the New York Post column of Cindy Adams, she poses a set of interesting questions, like, if Glenn Close married John Glenn, wouldn't she be "Glenn Glenn"? [:60 SPOT BREAK]
Freberg here with more weird marital possibilities. If Liddy Dole married G. Gordon Liddy, she'd be "Liddy Liddy." And if talk show host Oprah married doctor and best-selling author Deepak Chopra, wouldn't she be "Oprah Chopra"? Of course! And if Britt Ekland married Brad Pitt, she'd be "Britt Pitt."
Here's a really complicated one: if Bo Derek married Don Ho, then Sonny Bono, then that World War II Japanes general, wouldn't she be "Bo-Ho-Bono-Tojo"? Whew!
One more. If actress Sondra Locke married Elliot Ness, then divorced him for Herman Munster, she'd be "Sondra Locke-Ness-Munster" (laughs).
Sorry about that.
