Cartoon Update: Clinton, Carville, and Clinton Again

Stan Freberg here with a few political cartoons. My friend Mike Peters, Dayton Daily News, shows Monica in the Oval Office saying to Clinton, "Are we alone?" In the next panel, millions of people are outside the White House looking in. Clinton says, "It depends what you mean by 'alone'." [:60 SPOT BREAK]

Freberg here. After Clinton booster James Carville first declared war on Paula Jones, then declared war on Newt Gingrich, Ramirez of the L.A. Times shows Carville in full battle gear with an automatic weapon, being shoved out of a plane over Serbia! It's titled, "At Last, Something Useful: Carville Declares War on Milosevic!"

And Toles, in U.S. News, shows the start of a new Presidential mountain for the three who've faced possible impeachment. A carved Andrew Johnson head, next to that is Richard Nixon, and sculptors are already at work carving Clinton's head. He calls it, "Dis-mount Rushmore"!
