Byron the Elf: Now it's time for today's visit with



S.L.: Thank you, and hello, everybody. Today's story is called, "Lady, Your Sign Fell Down," and it goes like this.

(SFX: Music Box)

B: Uh, well, uh, wait a minute. Story Lady.

S.L.: Yes? (SFX: Music box slows down and stops.)

B: This story you're going to tell us, it's not the one about the drunk who...

S.L.: That's right, yes. The one where he's walking down the street and he goes past this big tall building, and he sees two...

B: Uh, yes, yes, heh-heh...I know the story, Story Lady, uh, heh- heh...you can't tell that on the air.

S.L.: Oh, are we on the air already? I thought this was just the rehearsal.

B: No, no, this is the actual show - people are listening in.

S.L.: Oh! Well, maybe I'd better do something else, then.

B: Ah, yes.

S.L.: (Ahem) All right.

(SFX: Music box)

S.L.: There was a young lady from Kent,
Who...

B: Er, never mind, Story Lady!

S.L.: What's the matter?

B: Just forget it! Boys and girls, listen again next time when another Story Lady will tell us another story.

(SFX: Music box screws up.)
