Byron the Elf:...And now boys and girls, it's time once again for

S.L.: Today I'm going to tell you the story I call, "The Little Tailor."
(SFX: Music box)

S.L.: Once upon a time there was a timid little tailor. One day he was working in his shop, and was being bothered by a whole bunch of flies who were buzzing all around him. Finally in anger he smashed his hand onto the table, where seven of the flies had landed. And lo and behold, he killed them all. It was very icky, but he was proud.

He went running outside proclaiming, "I killed seven with one blow!"

Immediately he was brought before the king, who sternly looked at the little tailor and asked, "Now just what was it you did?"

The meek little tailor looked up. "Your majesty, I killed seven with one blow!"

The king smiled and said, "Did you at least wash your hands afterwards?"

Byron: Thank you, Story Lady. Be listening next time, boys and girls, when The Story Lady tells us the warm and moving fable of "The Princess with Facial Hair."
