Stan Freberg here, continuing with my list of 100 Unexplained Things. #1 was, "How come Michael Jackson keeps announcing theme parks he'll build, that never get built?" Next on my list, after this. [:60 SPOT BREAK]
Freberg here with #2 on my list. How come we only see independent prosecutor Kenneth Starr on television taking off his suit coat, and getting into the back seat of a car?
Every day, the news cameras record the same thing. As I watch, I say to the television, "Why don'tcha takee off your coat, Ken?...Atta boy. Now, get in the car..." He does so.
Now that his investigation is winding down, he must look back on it like he was in the movie "Groundhog Day." Every night, come out to the cameras, take off the coat, get in the car.
Was it a different suit every day, or was it like Little Orphan Annie, who always wears the same red dress?
Whoops! I thought sure I'd get through this without mentioning the word, "dress."
