Cartoon Update: Andrew Cunanin, Vacations, and the President

Stan Freberg here with a few cartoons from around America on everything from Andrew Cunanin to vacations to the President. After this. [:60 SPOT BREAK]

From Deering of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, a TV newscaster is saying, "Cunanin is dead, but many questions remain. What were his motives? How did he elude police? Who will play him in the Movie of the Week?"

And from Smith in the Las Vegas Sun, a family sits on the beach in their bathing suits. The mother's on her cell phone saying, "Can you hold on? Someone's on call waiting." The father, at his laptop, says, "I better check my Email." A little boy says "Mom, your fax is coming in." And his little sister says "Oops! There goes my beeper!" It's labeled "A 90s Vacation."

And Marlette of Newsday shows the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, and finally, the Clinton Memorial. On a marble base is a huge metal zipper--half unzipped!
