Clinton Political Cartoons

Stan Freberg here with a few political cartoons from around the country. All of these feature President Clinton, drawn by various cartoonists. After this. [:60 SPOT BREAK]

Freberg here. Mike Keefe of the Denver Post shows Bill Clinton in Mexico with the Mexican president. Clinton says, "Aren't we supposed to be meeting with your top drug officials?" And the Mexican president says, "With good behavior, they should be here in...3 to 5 years."

If Mr. Clinton is listening, close your ears for the next two cartoons. Deering of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette shows the White House, but a drive-through has been added, with a heavy brass deposit slot. It says, "24 Hour Depository."

Finally, Ramirez, drawing for the Copely News Service, shows a huge ocean liner, heading for an iceberg beneath the surface. The side of the ship reads "Clintanic," and the iceberg is labeled "Scandals." From the ship comes Clinton's voice saying, "Ha-ha, a little ICE never hurt anyone."
