STAN FREBERG HERE...

Something Stupid I Won't Be Doing Anytime Soon, Thank You

Stan Freberg here. Well, once again they had the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. People try and outrun a herd of bulls through narrow streets. Are these people nuts? Be right back. [:60 SPOT BREAK]

Freberg here. There's a lot of dangerous things I won't be doing anytime soon. One is bungee jumping off a bridge; another's walking a high wire; or climbing Mount Everest. But the main thing I won't be doing is running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Started in the 15th century--I guess they were just as stupid then--people try and outrun a herd of wild bulls. With sharp horns! Down narrow streets! People are trampled left and right, and almost every year someone is killed. Are these people nuts?!? Am I missing something here?

You wanna talk about living on the edge, I know somebody who smokes three packs a day, and she doesn't even have to fly to Pamplona, Spain!

Stan Freberg here.
