1998's Ins and Outs

Stan Freberg here with a short list of what's "in" and "out" for 1998, according to the editors of USA Today. After this. [:60 SPOT BREAK] Freberg again with what's supposedly "in" and "out." Prozac is out, St. John's Wart is in. I say whatever works for ya. According to USA Today, cigar bars are out, oxygen bars are in. Gucci stiletto heels are now out, Gucci navel rings are in. I say forget BOTH of 'em! The TV shows "Friends" and "Mad About You" are supposedly out, "Veronica's Closet" and "Dharma and Greg" are in. Women's chokers are out, the list said, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" crosses are in. Hmm. You mean after 2000 years, Buffy now owns the franchise on crosses? Fake fur is out, real fur is in. If you don't agree with any of this, call USA Today. Long C-Span-type shows are out, short radio commentaries are in. I made that last one up myself, a-heh... Stan Freberg here.
