Cartoon Update: Computer Smut and the Mars Landing, for starters...

Stan Freberg here with a political cartoon update. It's always great to see our cartoonists' point of view on everything in the news from computer smut to the Mars landing. After this. [:60 SPOT BREAK]

Freberg again. Darian Bell, for the L.A. Times, shows a wife and her husband in the first panel. She says, "I caught Timmy looking at smut on the internet, and told him he could never use the computer again!" Her husband says, "That'll teach him." The next panel shows Timmy in front of the TV, which is saying, "Next on 'Hard Copy'--TV Studs and their Buxom Blonde Sex Kittens take it ALL off!" Hmm.

And Mike Lukovich of the Atlanta Constitution shows two aliens on Mars at home, sitting on a couch. They've just put their cups and saucers on the Mars Sojourner, which has inched away from them. One alien says, "Is it just me, or is the coffee table moving?"

Until next time, Stan Freberg here.
