The Coffee Tapes

Stan Freberg here. Now that the so-called "coffee tapes" have emerged from an embarrassed Clinton White House, what can future Presidents learn from this? Be right back. [:60 SPOT BREAK]

Freberg here. You coulda knocked Bill Clinton over with a VCR when videotapes surfaced showing the President glad-handing would-be contributors at a number of fund-raising coffees in the White House after all! Janet Reno was not pleased.

But out of all this may come guidelines for the next President. For example, since there seem to be quite a number of Asian people at these coffees, wouldn't some fund-raising teas have been more politically correct? Then "tea tapes" could've been shot and squirreled away for discovery later.

But if the new Pres is determined to invite big spenders to coffee, I say, "Take 'em to Starbucks, and videotape 'em off federal property."

The "Big Bucks at Starbucks Tapes." Just a thought.
